October 2006: After 35 years, Tyra Manning will finally bury her husband. “This was something I always prayed would happen,” said Tyra Manning, who retired in 2004 after a dozen years as superintendent of River Forest’s District 90 elementary schools. “It was always a hope and something I never gave up on. Ever.”
