The Oak Park arts community, suffered a setback this week when founder Rebecca Huntman announced that Danza Viva Center for World Dance & Music will be closing.
“After seven years of sharing world dance with this wonderful community, I will no longer be operating Danza Viva,” Huntman wrote in an E-News thank you/farewell letter.
She will hold a closing sale this Saturday and Sunday, featuring audio and computer equipment, furniture, dance costumes, Halloween costumes, dance shoes and apparel, Egyptian hip scarves, Latin skirts, wigs, a dance floor, dance posters, dance photos and more.
