In a front-page story last week headlined “West Sub sold to MacNeal owner,” we misstated the oldest hospital in Oak Park. Rush Oak Park Hospital is the oldest in Oak Park; It opening in 1907.

In a story last week headlined “Red Hen opens Oak Park store,” we misquoted Red Hen president Bob Picchietti. He said, “We also want to dispel the rumors we heard about the challenges involved with working with the Village of Oak Park.”

In a One View last week titled “FDIC acted appropriately in closing FBOP,” the letter writer mischaracterized U.S. Bank’s operations. U.S. Bank received money from the federal government’s Troubled Asset Relief Program.

In a Nov. 25 One View titled “Why the Oilily property is ideal for a River Forest rec center,” the letter writer misstated the amount available to the River Forest Park District to buy 103 Forest. About $8 million will be available to purchase and renovate the property.
