Andre J. Williams, 65, died peacefully on Nov. 22, 2015 at his Oak Park home. Born on Valentine’s Day, 1950 in Chicago, he is survived by his children, Andrew Williams and Gina Matthews; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; his siblings, Andrea Short, Louis Williams, and Zaditu McCants; many nieces and nephews; and his former wives, Florence Peterson and Regina Greer.
A funeral service was held on Dec. 5 at the Greater Zion Temple Missionary Baptist Church, 1130 E. 95th St. in Chicago. Interment was private.
