Eric Jeffrey Brightfield, 56, of Oak Park, died suddenly on Nov. 10, 2016. He was the principal and owner of ImageFiction, an influential producer and contributor of architectural imaging for the Chicago area and international commercial real estate market.
Eric Brightfield was the husband of Dawn A. (nee McConville); the father of Evan and Luke; the son of Jean and Carolyn Brightfield and son-in-law of Phyllis McConville and Dale (Judie) McConville; the brother of Susan Berry, Laura (John) Whaley, Steve (Amy), Gary (Sharon) and Jeffrey (Amy) Brightfield, and brother-in-law of Pamela (Bradley) Goldman, Michele (Louis) Goetsch, Kimberly (Michael) Tobak and Sean McConville; the nephew of Alice and the late Henry Faeth; and the uncle, cousin and friend of many.
There will be a “Celebration of Life” memorial gathering on Wednesday, Nov. 16 at FitzGerald’s, 6615 Roosevelt Road in Berwyn. The family will receive friends between 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. A memorial service will begin at 7:30. There will be an opportunity for those who may wish to speak.
One of Eric’s best friends was Ben, a young man with special needs.
