Daniel R. Forbes, 99, third-generation resident of Oak Park and River Forest, died on June 5, 2017 at his River Forest home. Born in Oak Park on Oct. 10, 1917, Daniel was the husband of the late Adine C. (nee Clare); and the father of James D. Forbes and Jean (Bill Steed) Forbes. Services and interment were private.
