Catherine Anne Schultz Kutz, 71, formerly of River Forest and Oak Park, died on Dec. 19, 2021, 16 days short of her 72nd birthday. She was an amazingly versatile watercolor artist and a lover, feeder, caretaker of birds. Born in Evanston and most recently residing in Kansas City, Missouri, she and her husband lived in River Forest from 1995 to 2000 and then in Oak Park until 2012. She was active in the Oak Park Art League and Village Players Theater.
She suffered constant pain and disability throughout her life, yet struggled to overcome and shined her light brightly. She finally succumbed to multiple illnesses, compounded by COVID-19.
