It is extremely alarming that ICE agents are openly defying the orders of District Judge Sara Ellis to use reasonable means to do their job and to avoid overtly violent methods. There is one solution. Chicago Police should begin arresting violent ICE agents. These are unskilled, untrained domestic terrorists operating with no oversight or restraint. Their behavior is entirely consistent with the philosophy of their commander-in-chief, Donald Trump, whose regime embodies organized crime, and who shows contempt for democracy and freedom.
Mr. Trump is a convicted felon (34 counts) who repeatedly, openly, and flagrantly violates American and International law and the U.S. Constitution. President Trump has openly weaponized federal agencies, ordering Attorney General Pam Bondi (via public tweets) to prosecute Trump’s political enemies, and Homeland Security to violate the Hatch Act by broadcasting in airports the lie that the government shutdown is entirely the fault of Democrats, despite Republicans having a stranglehold on all branches of government. The official Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services website now says, “Due to the Democrat-led shutdown, updates to information on this website may be limited or delayed.” Donald Trump demands the Nobel Peace Prize while declaring open war on the majority of American citizens who simply want their Constitutional rights to freedom.
