I moved to Oak Park 15 years ago and am originally from St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands. I tell you this so that you can understand why I chose Oak Park: Because it was old and I was used to old buildings, because there were a lot of trees and I was used to a green landscape, because it had the best recycling program of the neighboring suburbs.
